EZENWA ILABOR
“Ezenwa,” traditionally means “The King of all children” in Igbo. Ezenwa is usually given to male children born into the royal family. When my parents named me, they didn’t just choose a name but an aspiration. In my family, my name, as well as those of my siblings, carries strong cultural meaning.
Butterfly in the sky
I can go twice as high
I can go anywhere
I can be anything
It's in a book
A reading rainbow
I would look forward to Saturday mornings as a child, whenever I listened to Reading Rainbow Theme Song I felt like I could do anything. I became empowered by its lyrics and it became my personal anthem as a child even now as an adult I feel its influence. Teaching and reminding myself I have the power to do anything. Because we do ✨🧚🏿♂️🌈.
Beauty COLLECTION
Photos are metaphors, making the abstract concrete and mystifying the mundane. Be clear, be confident, and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself.
STILL LIFE
Take a deep breath. Look down at your two feet. Where are you right now? Look around. Do you see nature? Pick a flower and deeply inhale its beautiful fragrance. Do you hear birds? Stop and take a moment to listen to their music. Do you feel the sunshine on your skin? Step into the sun, be grateful for the fact that its shining down on you. Life is a gift, not something that is a given.
Be messy sometimes. Let it all go. Embrace all of your learnings and cherish your experiences because they truly are divinely fated. ENJOY IT. ALL OF IT.
